The Calogero-Sutherland model is a quantum integrable model of interacting one-dimensional bose-particles. Its eigenfunctions are known as Jack polynomials. We consider the limit of the integrals of motion of the model (Sekiguchi-Debiard differential operators) as number of particles tends to infinity and describe explicitely the limit using collective variables. A generalisation to Macdonald polynomials will also be discussed.
