Integrable hierarchies and growth problems

Abstract
Laplacian growth can be described as a particular solution of dToda hierarchy. In this talk I will discuss a modification of this problem, i.e. growth in the half plane. I will show it connection with dKP hierarchy and show particular explicit solutions of this problem. I will also discuss growth problems from the point of view of associativity equations
