Abstract

I will give an introduction to quantum cluster algebras, using examples of coordinate rings and their quantizations to illustrate the definitions and the issues involved in establishing the existence of these structures. These examples include some of the most important quantum groups, such as quantum matrices, quantum SL_n and the quantum Grassmannian.
