Abstract

The reduced qKZ equation, obtained from the qKZ equation by a certain special- isation of parameters, has been used in works by Boos, Jimbo, Miwa, Smirnov and Takeyama to unravel the structure of correlation functions of the Heisenberg magnet at zero temperature. Here we will show that even for nite temperature the reduced qKZ equation holds, however for a discrete set of parameter values. It follows that the algebraic structure of correlation functions is surprisingly identical to that for zero temperature. 1
