Abstract

I'll introduce some fundamental notions in the domain of (combinatorial) game theory and develop some ideas for how to compare games. Finally I will specialize my talk to some strategies for solving games, paying particular attention to the nice example of tic-tac-toe, and possibly playing a game at the end if everyone is well-behaved.
