Associated to any ranked poset is a noncommutative graded quadratic algebra given by a construction due to Gelfand, Retakh, Serconek and Wilson. We analyze the Koszul property of these algebras for posets associated to finite regular CW complexes, by introducing new cohomology groups which generalize the usual cohomology groups in algebraic topology. This is joint work with T. Cassidy and B. Shelton.
