Averaging over a compact quantum subgroup

Let K be a compact quantum subgroup of a locally compact quantum group G. During the talk I will discuss a method of averaging a function on G into a K-bi-invariant function. Using this method we are able to show equivalence between central strong amenability of a discrete quantum group and strong amenability of its Drinfeld double. This is a joint work with Matthew Daws and Christian Voigt.
