The Jiang-Su algebra is strongly self-absorbing revisited

Abstract
In 1999 Jiang and Su constructed their famous Jiang-Su algebra $\mathcal Z$, which is today one of the most important objects in the classification of C*-algebras. Using deep classification machinery, they already could prove that $\mathcal Z$ is strongly self-absorbing. In this talk, I will explain a shorter proof of this fact.
