GO Justice

The GO Justice Annual Report 25/26 has been developed to celebrate the successes of the Centre and share work undergone with organisational partners, colleagues in the University of Glasgow, and others working in the social justice space.

The report summarises the Centre's mission and values, projects, and partners active over the past year. It also details the funding and grants brought in by the centre, and highlights several key highlights. 

Next, the report details the research outputs produced by staff in 2025/26, and clarifies the ways in which the Centre's practice is informed by quality research, which in turn, generates a meaningful impact for the communities served. The contributions of Centre staff to research and teaching are also highlighted, including teaching through curriculum-based clinics, Honours courses, and Masters courses. 

Later, it showcases student engagement and analyses the demographics of students who engage in GO Justice projects, placements and clinics. It also celebrates the brilliant feedback provided by students, including:

After exposure to commercial law firms, I had somewhat written off a career in law. The clinic has shown me that there are paths that do align with my morals and passion for social justice."

I felt more supported than I ever have in my 4 years at UofG School of Law."

It has made me feel as if the knowledge acquired during my degree can be beneficial in helping to change someone's life. It has changed what aspect of law I wish to work in, and has presented how rewarding social justice is.”

To conclude, the report looks ahead to the future of the GO Justice Centre, drawing clear connections to the University of Glasgow's 'World-Changing Glasgow: University for the World' strategy.
