Four Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation scientists are set to participate in the second seminar of the University of Glasgow-University of Sydney Cardiovascular Partnership Series.

Following on from the successful Sex Differences and Pregnancy in Cardiovascular disease (CVD) seminar, researchers will come together across institutions and borders to showcase their most recent research and explore opportunities for future joint collaborations to target Cardiovascular Disease (CVD).

Professor Gerry Graham (welcome address), Professor Pasquale Maffia and Professor Carl Goodyear (Chairpersons), and Ms Lucy McShane (Speaker) will each contribute over the course of the virtual event scheduled for next Tuesday.

The seminar aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two universities and celebrate our partnership with the Charles Perkins Centre, and foster the generation of new multidisciplinary research collaboration.

The seminar will be beneficial to academics and industry partners, and participation of all students and staff alike is welcomed.
