Glasgow will host the next British Association for International and Comparative Education (BAICE) conference in 2026. This conference occurs every two years in early September and draws in approximately 200 participants from across the UK and abroad. Many ELP members are active in the area of comparative education and international development as well as colleagues from across the School of Education. The bid process to host this conference was led by Jack Lee, Simon McGrath, Michele Schweisfurth, Yulia Nesterova and Tore Sorenson. The 2026 conference will be the third time BAICE is meeting in Scotland in the last 25 years.
