MSc Education (online)

The duration of the MSc Education (online) programme is 2.5 years - 6 years and is taken only on a part-time basis. The programme is a partnership between the University of Glasgow and Wiley.  

 
Students on the programme will complete one course at a time before progressing to the next in their pathway and the programme has three entry points (Sept, Jan, April). Details of a student’s typical curriculum depending on what entry point you have chosen are included below.

Year 1  

Semester 1: 

  • Modern Educational Thinking (EDUC 51000)

Semester 2:

Semester 3: September entry students will be asked to select 1 course from the following 3 options:  

  • Psychology of Adult Learning (EDUC51019)  
  • Understanding Learners (EDUC5943)  
  • Education for All (EDUC51020)

Semester 2:

  • Research Application (EDUC5935)

  • Working Together to create Inclusive Working Environments (EDUC51021)
