Part time structure

All courses are delivered through twilight and Saturday teaching sessions. DDEL is mainly online with some face-to-face sessions.

Students enter the MEd Educational Leadership programme from the Leadership and Learning, Middle Leadership and Headship pathways. Students who have completed 60 credits will be required to complete three 20-credit courses before progressing to MEd Educational Leadership programme.

Students who have completed the PgDip In Headship will audit DPPE if they have not completed this as part of the Diploma before completing the Dissertation. Students normally opt to take LPL and DDEL in the first year on the Masters programme, and then take DPPE and the Dissertation in the second year. Successful completion of DPPE is a requirement for progression to the Dissertation.
