Dr Catherine Reid, Lecturer in Teacher Education in the School of Education, has contributed to a chapter in All Means All! a new open-access textbook designed to support inclusive education across the globe. a new open-access textbook developed to support inclusive education globally. The chapter, “School Assessment in an Inclusive Education System – Do We Measure What We Value or Do We Value What We Can Measure?”, was authored by Dr Merve Ayvalli Karagöz, Vana Chiou and Leslie-Ann Webster.

Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and developed between 2020 and 2024, All Means All! brings together over 150 contributors—including educators, researchers, and self-advocates—from across the world. The textbook reimagines teacher education through an inclusive and intersectional lens, offering diverse perspectives and practical strategies for creating more equitable learning environments.

The multimedia resource includes written chapters, podcasts, videos and adaptable tools. It explores a wide range of issues relevant to inclusive practice, such as disability, language diversity, social class and cultural background. It is particularly suitable for both practising teachers and student teachers, and aims to bridge theory and real-world classroom challenges.
