Researchers from Malawi and Glasgow publish baseline study on gender inclusion in schools in Malawi, Uganda and Ethopia
Authors including three researchers from the School of Education recently published a baseline study on gender inclusion in schools in Malawi, Uganda and Ethopia.
Professor Oscar Odena, Professor Kristinn Hermannsson and Mr Edwin Atitsogbui from the University of Glasgow authored the study alongside researchers from Link Community Development Malawi and the University of Malawi.
The study is part of a 36-month project funded by the International Development Research Centre of the Government of Canada. The project aims to contribute understanding on how to scale-up practices enhancing gender equality and inclusion, including what incentivizes or impedes them.
