The University of Glasgow will host the World Community Development Conference 2026, in partnership with the International Association for Community Development (IACD). The event, titled Community Development in a Chaotic World: Challenge, Change and Collective Action, will take place from 29 June to 2 July 2026.

The conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, and advocates from around the globe to explore the role of community development in responding to today’s complex challenges. Further details, including the call for proposals and registration information, will be shared in the coming weeks.
