Our group has a wide range of skills and expertise and includes: clinical academic leads in dental public health; behavioural scientists, epidemiologists and statisticians with extensive experience in oral health epidemiology, big data analysis and data linkage; healthcare systems and human factors; and experienced managers and researchers in health improvement programme development, implementation and evaluation.

Examples of research activity

  • investigating the socioeconomic, healthcare system, behavioural, and biological determinants of oral health
  • developing, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, policies and practices to improve oral health and reduce oral health inequalities
