Practical Theology
Practical theology is a key aspect of the graduate and research programmes in TRS at the University of Glasgow.
Undergraduate students may take the BD and candidates for the Church of Scotland study the BD(Min), both of which integrate practical and theoretical approaches to the study of theology.
TRS also runs a very successful Doctorate in Practical Theology. An associated Masters in Values-based practice will run from autumn 2014.

Doug Gay, Leah Robinson and Heather Walton all have expertise and strong research profiles in practical theology.
Vicky Gunn, David Jasper, Charlotte Methuen, Sarah Nicholson, and Lloyd Ridgeon also supervise students on the DPT who are working on projects related to their areas of expertise.
