Practical Theology Research Review 2010-11
Heather Walton completed her AHRC-funded research project entitled “Landscape and Pilgrimage” which culminated in a final conference on “Sacred Topographies.” She also published an edited collection showcasing the work of international scholars associated with the TRS’s ‘Centre for Literature, Theology and the Arts’. As well as publishing a monograph, Doug Gay broadcast a sermon on BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Morning Service in Lent, and was the subject of a full-page feature in The Times in May. The new Doctorate in Practical Theology has now got underway and is recruiting well, boding well for future development, especially in the light of planned collaborations with the Church of Scotland and other faith bodies.
