Postgraduate taught degrees

Our programme options

Your qualification will also provide a strong foundation for PhD study or leadership positions across science and technology sectors.
MSc in Chemistry
This programme will extend your depth and breadth of knowledge in all branches of Chemistry. It is aimed at students who have already obtained at least a 2.1 Honours degree in Chemistry (or equivalent). More information is available here.

This programme will extend your depth and breadth of knowledge in all branches of Chemistry, with some additional specialisation in Medicinal Chemistry. It is aimed at students who have already obtained at least a 2.1 Honours degree in Chemistry (or equivalent). More information is available here.
MSc in Heterogeneous Catalysis
This programme focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of heterogeneous catalysis, a process central to many areas of the chemical industry. It is aimed at students who have already obtained at least a 2.1 Honours degree in Chemistry (or equivalent). More information is available here.

The School of Chemistry also offers Postgraduate research opportunities. The entry requirement for these is normally a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. However, candidates with a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent can be considered for entry to the MSc by Research.
