Graduate School
Studying Science or Engineering at research or Masters level at the University of Glasgow means that you will be part of a Graduate School which provides the highest level of support to its students.
The overall aim of our Graduate School is to provide a world-leading environment for students which is intellectually stimulating, encourages them to contribute to culture, society and the economy and enables them to become leaders in a global environment. We have a diverse community of over 1000 students from more than 70 countries who work in innovative and transformative discciplinary and interdisciplinary fields.

Yiwei Zhang 2016 Chinese Government Award
PhD student Yiwei (Eway) Zhang in the Optics Group has been selected for the 2016 Chinese Government Award for outstanding students abroad by the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) with a $6,000 prize. -

The Graduate School is offering a new programme of development sessions for postgraduate supervisors. This programme has been designed so that it’s not just useful for new supervisors, but also experienced supervisors who want to refresh their skills.
