Our Commitment
The School of Chemistry Self-Assessment Team (SAT) is responsible for delivering our Athena SWAN applications and action plan.Some of our recent highlights and achievements include:
- 51% of undergraduate students in 2024 were women, our highest ever cohort.
- Our female postdoctoral researchers numbers are on an upward trajectory at 39% of the overall number.
- Technical colleagues are made up of 43% female and we are active participants in the Technician Commitment.
- We have appointed our first female Professor in Chemistry, via internal promotion.
