Student Counselling and Advisory Service
The Student Counselling and Advisory Service forms one part of the student support network and is generally available to registered students of the University of Glasgow undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. International students enrolled with the Glasgow International College are advised to seek support from the college's Head of Student Services, Trish McAllister, in the first instance, as referral to the Counselling Service must have approval from the college.

International Student Advisers
The International Student Support team provide a dedicated advisory service for international students on non-academic and welfare matters such as immigration, employment, finance and any other concerns you may have. We also organise the University's International Orientation Programmes, compile the International Student Handbook and coordinate events for students and students with families. The international handbook for 2011-12 is located on their webpage linked below.

Chaplaincy
Chaplains/Advisors provide a valuable resource for students and staff. Chaplain/Advisers are drawn from faith communities which are members of the Scottish Interfaith Council and Christian churches which are in membership of Action Together of Churches in Scotland. The University is the first HEI to appoint a Humanist to the Chaplaincy team as an Advisor for people from a non faith background.
