‌The Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences was awarded an Athena SWAN Bronze award in the November 2015 round. The Athena SWAN (Scientific Women's Academic Network) Charter recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment in academia.
