Rada Yanakieva one of our PhD students visited pupils at Breadalbane Academy Perthshire where she demonstrated, via a toy model, a visible gut and vibration mechanism representing the contractions generated from the gut. Her Public Engagement Activities were undertaken following her appointmet as a STEM ambassador with Dundee Science Centre. She has also applied for a grant from the University of Dundee public engagement project.
