Funded to take part in Festival UK 2022 R&D Project

Fiona Macpherson and the CSPE are members of the "Assemble" team chosen to participate in the Festival UK 2022 R&D Project between November 2020 and February 2021.

Fiona Macpherson and the CSPE are members of the "Assemble" team chosen to participate in the Festival UK 2022 R&D Project between November 2020 and February 2021.

The team in total consists of Assemble - Seyi Adelekun, Anthony Engi Meacock, Jane Hall • Centre for the Study of Perceptual Experience - Prof. Fiona Macpherson • Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science - Dr. David Schwartzman, Prof. Anil Seth • Jennifer Crook • Michelle Feuerlicht • Jon Hopkins • Dev Joshi • Christopher Shutt.

The team have been awarded £100,000 for their participation in this initial phase of development for the festival.

Festival UK* 2022 will be ten open, original, optimistic, large-scale and extraordinary acts of public engagement that will showcase the UK's creativity and innovation to the world.

Bringing people together in astounding ways, the festival will platform the full range of our creative imaginations by combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
