Ioanna Kontoliou is currently a PhD researcher in marketing at the Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow. She holds an MBA from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde. Her research interests are brand communities, working consumers, brand co-creation and crowdfunding. She has extensive working experience in various industries including crowdfunding where she developed and managed successful crowdfunding campaigns in the UK.
