MyGrades
MyGrades aims to support students in their academic development by providing seamless access to all consolidated course assessment information and grades, from Moodle Gradebook or MyGrades, in one place.
The delivery of MyGrades moodle plugin is part of the University’s commitment through the Learning & Teaching Strategy to continue to develop a more integrated approach to digital teaching and assessment technologies.
Reinforced by a suite of training and upskilling resources, MyGrades phased roll-out aims to standardise grade aggregation where possible, ensure consistency of experience and improving staff and student experience.
We hosted a series of MyGrades information sessions in May to help you learn more about MyGrades, understand how to upskill in this new technology and answer any questions you had about the new Moodle plugin.

Upskilling Resources (developed and produced by colleagues in LISU & SLD)
Setting up the Moodle Gradebook is a requirement for all staff members for the upcoming academic year, as the Student MyGrades panel will be turned on for all students.

What we want to achieve
- A single point of access for students to view their consolidated assessment information.
- A reduced need for manual aggregation mitigating risks associated with error-prone processes at a course level.
- A suite of comprehensive training and upskilling resources, to support smooth implementation and allow any single point of failure threats to be reduced.
