Student and Staff Engagement
The GUEST Student and Staff Engagement branch focuses on increasing collaboration within the University community on environmental and sustainable practices. Through promoting sustainable initiatives on campus, we seek to share opportunities for both students and staff to enact real change in the University community and beyond. We also aim to improve our communications with other Universities across Glasgow to strengthen green networks within the city.
Monthly we host a Climate café which anyone interested in sustainability and climate justice is welcome to join. We also organise an annual Glasgow Goes Green Festival, where all higher education institutions in Glasgow celebrate environmental practices within the city. Both of these projects focus on creating a relaxed and creative space for individuals and groups to meet one another, share ideas and inspire change.
