Introduction
The University of Glasgow’s UKVI Sponsor Licence, and our ability to sponsor international students, are dependent on accurate and timely attendance monitoring.
To ensure on-going compliance the University has introduced new practices, especially in the areas of student engagement monitoring. Changing our processes greatly influences a broader, future ambition to ensure we provide data-informed processes that can boost student wellbeing, success, and engagement across individual students and the wider community.
UG/PGT (teaching events) - Student visa holders should use the SafeZone app to record their attendance during timetabled teaching events.
PGR/PGT (dissertation/project) - Student visa holders should use the new UofG HelpDesk Engagement Form (which replaces all other local forms for recording engagements).
