Undergraduate student research conference seeking submissions of interest

Let’s Talk About [X] is the University’s annual multi-disciplinary conference that showcases the outstanding research carried out by our undergraduate students. We invite students now to apply to present a talk at this year’s online event. Whether they did their research as part of their dissertation or out of their own interest, the conference is an opportunity to tell an audience of students, staff and the public about their work. Let’s Talk About [X] has been shortlisted for a Times Higher Education Award, and getting involved is an excellent way to boost a CV.

We are currently looking for submissions of interest in presenting talks and staff are very welcome to share the relevant information below with students that may wish to apply.

Successful applicants will get access to a comprehensive training programme in how to deliver a first-class presentation, and some presenters will be able to also talk at the University of Glasgow’s annual Learning and Teaching Conference. Our team won a Teaching Excellence Award in 2021, so they’ll be in good hands.

All the information to apply is at https://www.talkaboutx.net/letstalkaboutx

Deadline to submit an application to present: Friday 21st January 2022

Conference: 11:00 – 17:00 8th and 9th March 2021 (exact start times TBC)
