New wi-fi for visitors

New visitor wi-fi service will launch in coming weeks

As part of the University’s Network Programme, a new free wi-fi service for visitors to the Gilmorehill and Garscube campuses will be rolled out over the coming weeks. We hope to make the service available at the Crichton Campus in Dumfries later in the year.

The new UofGvisitor wi-fi service will offer visitors a quick and easy way to stay connected while enjoying our campuses. At the click of a button, visitors will have access to wi-fi for up to two hours, after which time they can easily reconnect.

We plan to phase out the current GUvisitor service over the coming months, to eventually be fully replaced by UofGvisitor. More information will follow nearer the time.

Find out more about the Network Programme- we will keep this page updated as the Programme progresses.
