University of Glasgow nominated for five THE Awards

The Times Higher Education awards will take place in London on 17 November 2022

The University of Glasgow has been nominated for five awards at the upcoming Times Higher Education (THE) awards, taking place at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel on 17 November 2022.

Known as the ‘Oscars of Higher Education’, the THE Awards are an annual celebration of excellence in Higher Education across the UK & Ireland. 

Times Higher Education Awards 2022/23

The University is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for the following categories:

  • Knowledge Exchange/Transfer of the Year
    CRUSH (COVID-19 Resistance and Drug-Screening Hub)

  • Outstanding Estates Team
    Opening of the JMS Learning Hub

  • Research Project of the Year – Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
    Waterproofing Data project
  • Research Project of the Year – STEM
    OCTAVE – examining the effectiveness immunological effects of COVID-19 vaccines in immunocompromised patients

  • THE DataPoints Merit Award
