Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is now provided by Health Assured

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is now provided by Health Assured.  

Health Assured is an external and independent service providing a complete support network that offers expert advice and compassionate guidance covering a wide range of issues. The service is free and confidential and available to all University of Glasgow colleagues 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Services Available 

  • Life support: Access to counselling for emotional problems and a pathway to structured therapy sessions at your convenience. 
  • Legal information: For issues that cause anxiety or distress including debt management, consumer, property or neighbour disputes. 
  • Bereavement support: Health Assured offers qualified and experienced counsellors who can help with grief plus legal advisors to help with related legal matters. 
  • Medical information: Qualified nurses are on hand to offer support on a range of medical or health-related issues offering practical information and advice. 
  • Online CBT: A range of CBT self-help modules, informative fact sheets and invaluable advice videos from leading qualified counsellors. 
  • Support for your immediate family members, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Online Support & App 

In addition, Health Assured also provides access to a range of online resources, articles and self-help guides accessible through their online webpages and their comprehensive My Healthy Advantage smartphone app.

Posters 

Health Assured posters will be displayed across our campuses over the coming weeks. If you would like posters/flyers sent to you for display in your area, please email haveyoursay@glasgow.ac.uk. Alternatively a printable pdf is available should you wish to print and display a poster within your area.  

We also kindly ask anyone to remove any PAM Assist posters that may still be displayed.
