Save the date: International week for staff (10-14 May)

Staff are invited to a series of events to promote international activity and opportunities. 

The University is delighted to announce it will be launching an International Week, the week commencing Monday, 10 May to raise awareness of ongoing international activity and opportunities taking place across the institution. The event will open with a Question and Answer session from Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, Principal and Vice-Chancellor and Rachel Sandison, Vice Principal, External Relations. 

The remainder of the week will be a series of short online events: 

  • Early morning briefings (30 minutes) including: The Guild of European Intensive Research Universities (GUILD), U21 network, CIVIS alliance and overview of priority partners and network members.
  • Mid-morning regional overviews (30 minutes)from the Deans for Global Engagement  
  • Lunchtime and afternoon staff Q and A sessions(45 minutes) topics include European Research funding, Student mobility and the Turing Scheme, Internal funding schemes for staff, articulations, Student recruitment, Transnational Education. 
  • Plus college-led events.
