Colleagues invited to take part in Creathon event in Brussels

CIVIS – an alliance of leading research higher education institutions across Europe, of which UofG is a partner – is holding the annual Global CIVIS days on 24, 25 and 26 November this year.

As part of this programme of activity, CIVIS are offering our staff and student community the opportunity to take part in a Creathon, which will be an opportunity to meet people from across the network and work on solutions to questions around the main theme of this year’s CIVIS days.

CIVIS days are gatherings of communities from each of the member institutions, including students, university staff, civil society, innovators, policymakers and local representatives. This year’s CIVIS days will focus on the symbiotic relationship between universities and cities.

The Creathon is open to all staff and students at the University, with successful candidates receiving a mobility grant to participate in the event in Brussels from 24-26 November. CIVIS hopes to recruit four or five people from each institution to attend.

To learn more about this exciting opportunity, please see the CIVIS Creathon 2021 webpages and on the UofG Creathon webpage.
