Overwhelming demand for strategy workshops

Upcoming events for staff are now fully booked – register your interest for future sessions

Three forward-looking consultation workshops focused around the next University Strategy have sold out in less than 24 hours.

The workshops were advertised through an email to all staff last Tuesday and are set to explore three key areas of change that will affect the future of our University: the role of technology; the changing world of work; and the way we engage with society.

Professor Neal Juster, Senior Vice-Principal and the strategic lead for University Strategy, said: “I’m delighted with the interest and enthusiasm staff are showing in the development of the new strategy. It’s more than words on a page – it’s the roadmap for the next five years of our journey together as a university community, and I want everyone to have the chance to help shape what those five years will become.

“This isn’t the last opportunity that staff will have to get involved. I would encourage anyone who has missed out on a place at the workshops this time around to sign up for our waiting lists so that we gauge where the demand is for follow-up events.”
