The annual PDR round will be formally launched for all staff on 16 July, 2019.

The look and feel of the PDR module has been refreshed in line with the latest version of CoreHR to provide a more engaging and intuitive user experience.

This year’s PDR round will have greater emphasis on team objectives to achieve our strategic aims, helping to foster excellence and collegiality at all levels across the University.

To reduce bureaucracy and streamline our approach to reward, there will be an amended online process which will enable line managers to reward staff where exceptional performance has been achieved. Therefore, there will be no need to submit nominations to the Rewarding Contribution Process separately later in the year.

In the interim, senior managers should begin engaging in discussions with those within their immediate span of responsibility, through the PDR hierarchy, on objective setting priorities and begin to consider the associated sharing of team and individual objectives.

Further detail will be communicated prior to the launch in July.
