Maths and Stats building foundations

The piling foundations are now going in; this work is expected to take three weeks. The project team have worked with the contractors to minimise disruption, however there may be some localised noise and vibration. Routes around the site may also be affected.

If you have any concerns, in particular with vibration and sensitive research, please email campus-development@glasgow.ac.uk.

New pedestrian route to the Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre (WILT)

To accommodate the construction work, pedestrian access to the WILT is now along Forensic Lane, just to the left of the previous entrance. The new route leads to the WILT's back entrance as the front entrance is now inaccessible.

We expect this access route will stay in place until Spring 2016, when the new Maths and Stats building is due to be completed.

Keep checking Campus e-News for project updates. We’ll make sure you get the latest news as the development progresses.
