RSE Enterprise Fellowships Scheme

The University will be holding a workshop on Thursday 28 January for anyone thinking about applying to either the RSE Enterprise Fellowships Scheme or the Converge Challenge.

The University will be holding a workshop on Thursday 28 January, 2-3.30pm for anyone thinking about applying to either the RSE Enterprise Fellowships Scheme or Converge Challenge.

The workshop will include a short talk on each scheme, followed by lots of time for questions. It will take place in the Kelvin Room (ground floor) at No. 11 The Square.

Converge Challenge

Converge Challenge is the largest business competition and entrepreneurial training programme in Scotland. It provides training, hands-on mentoring, business support and cash prizes up to £43,000.

Converge is open to staff, postgraduate and final year students of all Scottish Universities, working with any industry sector, product- or service-based ideas at any stage of development.

This workshop is for anyone who is considering applying to Converge Challenge and would like to find out more about the competition, as well as internal support available to help you with your application.

RSE Enterprise Fellowships

RSE Enterprise Fellowships are designed to enable an individual to advance the commercialisation of existing research results or technological developments.

They offer:
• A year's salary to develop your commercial proposition and product, hosted at your university
• Business training to give you the knowledge to prepare a viable business plan
• Access to networks of mentors, business experts and professional advisors
