Teaching Excellence Awards

Published: 21 January 2016

The University's Teaching Excellence Awards are once again taking place with nominations closing on Friday 18 March.

Teaching Excellence Awards were introduced in 2005-06 to recognise and celebrate members of staff whose teaching is of a particularly high standard.

With effect from 2013-14, the awards are now split into two stages, the initial stage at College level with up to two winners from each College being nominated to the next stage for a University award.  A Network of Teaching Excellence has also been established in order to share good practice.

The University is delighted to confirm that both Graduate Teaching Assistants and University staff will be eligible to receive awards.

The closing date for the nominations of the University's 2015-16 Teaching Excellence Awards is Friday 18 March 2016.
