Recognition and Reward round for 2015-16 now open
I am pleased to advise that the annual Recognition and Reward round for 2015-16 is now open, writes Lesley Cummings, Head of Performance, Pay & Reward.
The Recognition and Reward process is accessible to all eligible staff on Grades 1 to 9 of the substantive pay scale, irrespective of contractual status or length of service. Please note that applications should be submitted to the Performance, Pay and Reward team (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 10 February 2017.
Professional Services (MPA, Technical & Specialist and Operational) staff assessed as ‘Exceptional Contribution’ through the annual PDR exercise may, subject to College/University Services management discretion, receive a one-off non-superannuable payment, the amount of which will be determined by each College/University Services. Where, in such circumstances, a case for a consolidated (sustained excellence) award is successful, then the consolidated award will apply rather than the one-off, non-consolidated award.
There continues to be scope for Professional Services staff in all Colleges and University Services to apply for a Sustained Excellence award, i.e. an accelerated increment or a contribution point.
Full details regarding the Recognition and Reward process are available on the HR website and the timetable is replicated below for information.
