Become an “Ask Me” Ambassador

Published: 7 December 2016

Help us welcome new students to the University of Glasgow and assist continuing students this January. Become an “Ask Me” Ambassador. Here's how...

‌Following the successful “Ask Me” campaign in September, University Services are running it again this month.

We are looking for members of staff from across the University to volunteer. We are striving to help enhance the student experience at the University of Glasgow.

It is important for our students to feel welcome and supported when they arrive. That’s where you can make an invaluable contribution with your wealth of experience, friendly face and information on hand.

How you will help:

The campaign will involve you wearing an “Ask Me” badge between Monday 9 January and Tuesday 31 January, while you go about your usual business. These badges will act as prompts, indicating that students can approach you and ask for help.

To aid you in this task, we will provide you with useful information and answers to the most common student questions.

Who can get involved:

This is open to all University of Glasgow staff.

What’s in it for me?

By wearing the badge, you will have an opportunity to experience the vibrant Campus, buzzing with a variety of events at the start of session, connect with students and gain even more insight and perspective into the student life.
