The Embedding Employability Framework Pilot 2025/2026

As part of the University’s Learning & Teaching Strategy, we are piloting the Embedding Employability Framework during the 2025-26 academic year, with around 10–12 courses taking part across the University.

The pilot will allow us to test key aspects of the framework (the consultation process, resources at each stage, personalised support) and to continue gathering feedback from staff and students. The process is designed to be collaborative, with teaching colleagues and Careers & Employability Managers working together to build on existing good practice and make skills more visible to students.

To find out more, join our webinar on Wednesday the 22nd of October, 1:00pm - 2:00pm on MS Teams, hosted by Daniel Mitchell, Academic Partnerships Manager in Careers, Employability & Opportunity. This session is open to all staff, whether you want to see how the Framework might apply to your teaching, or simply curious about employability in the curriculum. You can sign up here.

Throughout the duration of the pilot, we will share monthly updates on this page – starting at the end of October 2025 - to keep colleagues informed.
