This month, the University announced that fifty pre-selected courses across the four Colleges will take part in the extended Cadmus pilot in the upcoming academic year. We look forward to taking this next step towards a future-ready, digitally enabled assessment ecosystem together.
Cadmus, a digital assessment platform, allows you to plan, design, deliver and grade assessments, and provides several key benefits including the real-time monitoring of assessment and student engagement, group-work functionality, and a lock-down browser for exams.
Cadmus received positive feedback in the pilot last year, with colleagues and students praising its intuitive interface, improvements to the marking process, and increased clarity around assessment guidelines. In the coming academic year, we will test Cadmus across a wider range of courses, disciplines, and assessment types, to create strong business case for potential future investment.
Thank you to colleagues for their involvement in the pilot and engagement with the evaluation process so far.
