On this page, you'll find everything you need to plan your visit, including information on booking an appointment, our standard opening hours, our locations, and other helpful tips.
Appointments
Our reading rooms are open to all: University of Glasgow staff and students, and to members of the public.
All visits to Archives & Special Collections need to be booked in advance to allow us time to retrieve the collection items from storage and carry out a conservation assessment and any other checks which may be necessary.
Booking an appointment
Go to Book an Appointment and book by following the relevant link under either the Thurso Street or Level 12 of the Library heading, depending on the items you want to consult.
