Offering a mix of single and twin standard rooms, Cairncross House provides the perfect base from which to explore Glasgow, with the city centre, cosmopolitan West End and the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) all within easy walking distance.

Summer 2026 rates: Single room from £39.50 per room, per night. Twin room (max occupancy 2 persons) from £52 per room, per night

Parking and transport

The closest public car park is at Bunhouse Road, 13 minutes walk from Cairncross House. Operated by Glasgow City Council, charges apply https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/payanddisplaycarparks

On-street parking on Kelvinhaugh Street is very expensive. £1.20 per 15 minutes with a maximum 3 hour stay. charges apply 0800-1800hrs Monday to Friday Glasgow City Council interactive parking zone map

The closest train station is Exhibition Centre which is 10-12 minutes walk from Kelvinhaugh Street. The journey from Exhibition Centre to Glasgow Central Station take 4/5 minutes.

Buses run to the city centre from nearby Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street. Most buses offer 'tap on, tap off' payment.
