Ricefield Arts launch online wishing tree in partnership with Kelvin Hall.

Every year, our friends at Ricefield Arts display a wishing tree in Kelvin Hall as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Visitors to the display, which is part of the annual activity day, write their wishes for the year and tie them to the tree.

Sadly, there won’t be a physical tree in Kelvin Hall this year due to current restrictions. However, Ricefield Arts and Kelvin Hall have created an online wishing tree instead and are inviting everyone to make their wishes for the Year of the Ox.

At the end of February, Ricefield Arts will feature three wishes on their website which will be a collective vision for the year ahead.

Visit the Ricefield Arts website to make your wish and to find out more about the history and importance of wishing trees.

The last day for making online wishes is Friday 26 February by 11.00pm.
