One European University, nine campuses, countless opportunities
Created in 2019, CIVIS aims to create a truly unique inter-university campus where students will be able to tailor their own curriculum and study in any of the CIVIS member universities.

Short Courses and Virtual Courses
CIVIS partners are working together to deliver new, innovative and inter-disciplinary short courses, either in person or online.
There are courses for all levels of studies, and they are free for students registered at a CIVIS partner.

CIVIS law course
The CIVIS Law course is a joint initiative between 8 out of 9 law departments at CIVIS member universities.
Each weekly session will be led by a CIVIS Institution and will provide a short introduction of their respective legal systems. Sessions will run between 1 October until 10th December 2021.
This program is open to all, without registration needed.
Learn or practice a language
CIVIS Language cafés are back this spring!
The CIVIS Digital Language Cafés are organised by the Språkstudion at Stockholm University, and they are free!
Brush up your language skills and meet new people.
Join a Digital Language Café to both learn new languages and to maintain language skills in a fun and informal setting: Registration form
The first language café will begin on 31 January 2022, and the initial schedule for the language cafes will be published on their website.
Be a Language Café Coordinator
The Språkstudion is currently looking for students volunteers to coordinate the cafés in their native-level language(s).
If you're interested, register for the online information meeting planned on 20 January at 12 pm.
CIVIS Online tandems
Practice a foreign language online with native speakers or more proficient peers.

If you need help with the registration process, access the virtual room which will be opened from 20th September to 22nd October 2021 as follows:
- Tuesday 1pm – 2pm in English, German and Romanian
- Wednesday 1pm – 2pm in Dutch, English, French and German
- Thursday 1pm – 2pm in English, French, Japanese and Swedish
- Friday 1pm – 2pm in English, French, Italian and Spanish
CIVIS for PhD students
The aim of the Alliance is to foster a collaborative ecosystem to allow PhD students to move seamlessly between in education, work and research.

Workshops & Graduate training:
Stockholm University's Faculty of Humanities is opening its online free-standing courses at doctoral level in the humanities to the CIVIS community. All courses are free of charge. Find out more.

CIVIS Ambassadors are the first point of contact for their peers.
