I would recommend a collaborative dissertation to anyone whom wishes to explore how theoretical aspects of their subject work in reality

My experience writing my dissertation with Planning Democracy allowed for great knowledge, understanding and opinions to be uncovered which wouldn’t have been accessed without a collaborative dissertation. I thoroughly enjoyed writing and researching the theory for my dissertation but Planning Democracy enabled conversations to translate into real life applications and experiences, which I believed added to my dissertation.  Albeit hard work, I would recommend a collaborative dissertation to anyone whom wishes to explore how theoretical aspects of their subject work in reality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of working with the University. It was great to work closely with an interested student and to discuss issues with them. It also helped us to better understand the University and the way it works, even though it was in extraordinary circumstances. The greatest benefit was the easy to read summary that Symone presented to one of our Glasgow local groups. This has led to a great interest in what is a challenging topic for many lay people to understand.
